IE5 dead update
Did all MS updates EXCEPT SP2 (ran out of time & energy on the first night). Everything worked fine. Did the SP2 update (using Windows Update from the start menu). No glitches during install, but now, I cannot access the internet. When I did the SP2 update on two other machines, I did NOT have this problem.

I did see a post on another NG from a user that had downloaded the patch (did not use Windows Update) and manually installed it in Safe Mode and it resolved this issue for them, so I am going to try that tonight when I get home. There is also a fix you may obtain by calling PSS but I have not gotten to that point

Failed update, no emails, no remote web access
Anyway, unfortunately after removing my PPC from the cradle, my ActiveSync did not recognize the connection upon reinserting the PPC onto the cradle. The date on it is 1998, so when I arrive home tonight I plan to update with a later driver (hopefully there is one available via "Windows Update").
