XP Problem, need ideas
The last time I tried, I got the error message that the update did not install at all. This is a first. Previously, got a "Runtime error" from Windows Update. Note, that I reinstalled windows I return home tonight to find IE is taking nearly 100 CPU on launch, and every now and then after it loads my home page.

Earlier tonight I installed the new VIA Hyperion 4.45 chipset drivers and the nVidia Detonator 41.09 drivers. Maybe those updates coupled with the Fix IE tool solved the I've got all but 3 updates from Windows Update. Interestingly enough, I do not get the error when I start Windows Update through the Start menu. I get another error about an ActiveX control that is busy, so I will try to install 5.5 tonight to see if it fixes my problems, but I have seen in another group someone that had this problem and 5.5 did not fix it.
